    PolarFish PICO-8 Game

A simple game I created in an hour or so this past weekend at the Colby/Bates/Bowdoin Hackathon (Feb 24, 2019) using PICO-8. You are a hungry polar bear (Bowdoin’s mascot) on a chunk of floating ice. You need to catch fish to keep yourself alive. Use the arrow keys to catch the jumping fish to extend your time and increase your score. As time goes on, the fish don’t fill your belly (time) as well as they used to so you need to get quicker at catching them!

Packaging of Scorchworks K40 Whisperer as an macOS Application. The official K40 Whisperer and instructions are at Scorchworks K40 Whisperer. VW Spark Plug Holder

Buying a 3D Printer has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Not just because I love to make things, but it’s sheer usefulness in making things that are otherwise hard to find, obsolete, or where the shipping for a $1.50 part is… lets just say a lot more than you would think.

    The United States v1.2.0 Released

The updated version (1.2.0) of The United States iPad app is out! The last release was in 2014 and Apple sent me a message that it was going to be removed from the App Store unless I updated it. I’ve completed a bit of coding and testing and poof it’s available.

    The United States v1.2.0 Testing

I’ve been poking at an updated version (1.2.0) of The United States iPad app. The last release was in 2014 and Apple sent me a message that it was going to be removed from the App Store unless I updated it. I don’t really make any money off the $0.99 price tag. It used to be enough to pay for the developer account but has dropped off over the years. Could be I’m not a great app/software marketer too.

    F-Engrave macOS Package Update v1.65

Packaged up an update to Scorchworks F-Engrave GCODE generator for macOS. It has been a few versions since I updated the package so there was a bit of overhead in getting things set up and working again. I also took the time to clean up the build and update scripts that I use to make the package. One of those, “leave it better than you found it” moments. Perhaps my future-self with thank my current self for the extra work.
